About Asiatis
Asiatis is a professional and sworn translation agency founded in Paris in 2000. Asiatis belongs to a group present in France, Canada and Singapore, covers 150+ language combinations on request, and answers every quote request within 60 minutes on business days.
Since 2000
Asiatis was founded in Paris in 2000 around a specialisation that generalist agencies rarely covered at the time: Asian languages, first and foremost Japanese, Chinese and Korean. That specialisation is still the core of the business 26 years later.
The offering later widened to European languages, then to the disciplines around translation: software and app localisation, multilingual desktop publishing, subtitling, transcreation, machine-translation post-editing and remote interpreting.
The head office remains in Paris, at 58 Avenue de Wagram. Client-side operations are fully remote: secure file drop, a dedicated project manager reachable by email or video call, no travel required.
Group structure
Three entities, three time zones. The French entity is the parent; the other two are subsidiaries and run their own domain.
Where we stand on certifications
Asiatis holds no ISO certification and claims none: neither ISO 17100 nor ISO 18587. We would rather describe our process precisely than display a standard we could not evidence. Sworn translations, on the other hand, are produced by translators listed as experts with French Courts of Appeal — an individual, verifiable qualification, which is not a company certification.
